Zamfara First Lady Commends Women’s Participation At APC Convention

Zamfara State First Lady Her Excellency Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has commended women of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State for their remarkable turnout at the 8th APC National Convention held in Abuja.

A statement signed by the press secretary office of the first Lady, Rabi Yusuf, on Sunday in Gusau said their presence was both inspiring and strategic, the First Lady noted that the strong participation of Zamfara women reveals their unalloyed loyalty, unity of purpose and deep commitment to the ideals of the APC as well as the continued progress of the state.

She emphasized that the vibrant engagement of women at the convention reflects their growing influence and indispensable role in Nigeria’s political landscape.

According to her, women remain a driving force in grassroots mobilization, policy advocacy and the promotion of sustainable development.

Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, further stated that the collective spirit demonstrated at the convention sends a clear message of solidarity and renewed hope for Zamfara State, reinforcing confidence in the future of both the party and governance at all levels.

She reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening collaboration with women across the state, advancing inclusive policies and empowering communities to contribute meaningfully to governance and development.
