Zamfara Pays 13th Month Salaries

Zamfara State government has approved the payment of 30 percent of basic salaries of government workers in the state, in addition to completing the settlement of December) salaries.

Governor Dauda Lawal announced the decision in a circular communicated by the Head of Service, Ahmed Aliyu Liman.

A statement by the spokesman of the governor, Sulaiman Bala Idris, said the decision for payment of 13th-month salaries was the first of its kind in the history of the state which aligns with the state government’s commitment to the welfare of workers and to motivate the workforce for high performance.
