All eyes were on Air Warriors, who topped the Savannah Conference in Phase One, while Plateau Rocks aimed to enhance their performance in the second phase.

This victory is a significant boost for Customs as they vie for a top-four spot in the Savannah Conference.

In other Savannah Conference results, Royal Aces triumphed over Plateau Rocks 58-46. The Rocks fought valiantly in the first quarter but narrowly lost 13-12. They continued to push in the second quarter but conceded too many free throws, losing 12-16. The third quarter saw the Rocks falter again, losing 11-18, while the fourth quarter ended in a deadlock at 11-11.

Titans outperformed Ham Warriors with a score of 70-40 in another match on day one.

In the Atlantic Conference, First Bank maintained their resurgence, reclaiming the title by defeating Bayelsa Blue Whales 57-39.

Following an impressive Phase One performance, First Bank is targeting a place in the finals scheduled for Lagos.
