A non-governmental organisation, Sustainable Initiative for Nurturing Growth (SING), under the leadership of Mercy Ehi Ebute, has called on all Nigerians to get involved in the 2027 general election to save the country’s future.

Ebute, in a statement on Monday, noted that every voice matters and every vote counts.

She said: “We believe that every voice matters, and every vote counts. Our mission is built on inclusivity, empowering individuals and communities to take ownership of their destiny and demand accountable leadership.”

She maintained that SING is committed to promoting a culture of participation, where every Nigerian feels they have a stake in the country’s progress.

“We’re urging citizens to reject money politics and vote based on issues that affect their lives, such as job creation, education, healthcare, and security. It’s time to say no to politicians who buy votes and yes to leaders who prioritize the people’s welfare.”

Through voter sensitisation programmes, SING aims to educate and mobilize citizens, especially young people, women, and marginalized groups, to exercise their right to vote. We believe that together, we can build a Nigeria that is just, equitable, and prosperous for all.

Ebute noted that SING goal is to ensure that the 2027 elections are a turning point for Nigeria, marking a shift towards a more transparent, accountable, and people-centered governance.

SING is a non-governmental organisation in Nigeria focused on promoting sustainable development, economic growth, and social responsibility.
