The convener of the group, Hon. Ezekiel Bilfa made the appeal while addressing journalists at PDP state Secretariat in Jos, the Plateau state capital.

He urged the leadership of the party to look into the recent zoning arrangements it made in order to provide a level playing ground for all aspirants in the 2027 presidential election.
Bilfa also said Nigerians are united in their desire for effective leadership that can tackle the nation’s economic and security challenges, stressing that only PDP can provide leaders with the ability to deliver tangible results and drive national progress.

“While we understand the need for internal party dynamics and strategies to win elections, we humbly appeal to the PDP leadership to reconsider its decision of zoning the presidential ticket to the South.
“NCSG wish to commended the National Working Committee of the Party led by our amiable Chairman, Iliya Damagun, the BOT members, and other critical stakeholders for their unwavering commitment to stabilizing the party and sustaining the momentum as we prepare for the Ibadan national convention,”he said.

The group also reiterated their support for Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s second tenure and Hashim presidential bids, noting that they possess the vision, leadership skills and character required to lead Plateau and Nigeria to greatness.
