PDP Shifts Plateau, Cross River Congress

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has postponed state congresses, meant to elect new State Executive Committee in Plateau and Cross River States.

The national publicity secretary of PDP, Hon Debo Ologungaba, who made the disclosure yesterday, said congresses in the two states has been postponed to a new date which will be communicated in due course.

The congresses were earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

He said, “The NWC urges all leaders, critical stakeholders, teeming members of the PDP, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the media, security agencies and the general public to note the postponement and be guided accordingly.”
