The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kaduna State, Usman Shehu Bawa, popularly known as Shehu ABG, has promised equitable distribution of resources across the state’s three senatorial zones if elected governor in 2027.
Bawa also pledged to make the needs and priorities of citizens the foundation of budget preparation and implementation, declaring that his administration would adopt a bottom-up approach to governance.
The candidate made the pledges during a town hall meeting with PDP stakeholders in Kaduna North Senatorial Zone, held in Zaria at the weekend.
His spokesperson, Yusuf Idris, noted that the meeting attracted religious leaders, student groups, women and youth organisations, community development associations, party officials and candidates contesting various positions on the PDP platform.
