Ahead of the 2027 general elections, former Zamfara State Governor and Minister of State for Defence, Mohammed Bello Matawalle, on Saturday led supporters in his hometown and Maradun South Ward (Runfar Makaranta) in declaring support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 elections.

The event drew APC supporters, who endorsed President Tinubu’s second-term bid while participating in the party’s ongoing grassroots political activities.

Speaking during the gathering, Matawalle expressed confidence in the electoral prospects of President Tinubu and APC candidates across the country, predicting victories for the ruling party in the 2027 polls.

He said the turnout of supporters reflected public support for the APC-led administration under President Tinubu.
