The fatal accident, according to an eye witness, was allegedly caused by a private japanese made car driver on high speed who ran over two speed breakers and hit the Warri bound commercial bus which rammed into a heavy duty trailer from behind, killing the three passengers in the bus on the spot and injured the other three in the process.

The private car was said to be damaged beyond repair, but its driver survived the accident unhurt and was arrested by the police.

It was also gathered that the remains of the dead passengers were deposited at the mortuary of Warri Central Hospital.
