In an exciting development for mixed martial arts fans, the Professional Fighters League (PFL) has confirmed its full fight card for the much-anticipated second event of the inaugural PFL Africa season. Following a historic, sold-out debut event in Cape Town earlier this month, the action is set to continue at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Saturday, August 9.

The upcoming event will showcase Africa’s premier MMA talent, with three Nigerian fighters prominently featured in the lineup. Fans can expect high-octane clashes in both the Welterweight and Featherweight divisions, highlighting the region’s burgeoning skill in the sport.

Headlining the event, Nigeria’s Patrick “Star Boi” Ocheme will face off against Guinea’s Mohamed Camara in a thrilling Featherweight First Round bout.

Both fighters are regarded as two of West Africa’s finest MMA practitioners, making this matchup a must-see for fans and enthusiasts alike.

Additionally, fellow Nigerian athlete Wasi “The Nigerian Jaguar” Adeshina will take on Jean Jacques Lubaya from the Democratic Republic of Congo, while rising star Kunle “Nigerian Ninja” Lawal will compete against Cameroon’s Desmond Tamungang in a Welterweight Alternate Bout.
