Popular American rapper, Curtis Jackson, widely known as 50 Cent, has reacted publicly after an alleged video linked to music mogul Sean Diddy Combs and his own former partner, Daphne Joy, began trending online.

The alleged recording, which also reportedly mentions adult film performer Sly Diggler, quickly became a major talking point across various social media platforms over the weekend. At the time of filing this report, the authenticity of the video has not been independently verified by legal or media authorities.

While the rapper initially appeared to mock Diddy on his Instagram page, he later shifted his focus to Daphne Joy, the mother of his school-aged son, Sire.

In a blunt social media post, the rapper expressed deep concern over how the online scandal would affect their child’s mental health and school life. He argued that his ex-partner should not be viewed as the casualty in the situation.

50 Cent wrote: “She’s not a victim, SIRE is. Can you imagine going to eighth grade to find out this is your mom?”

The businessman also questioned the current child custody arrangements in California, adding that he wonders how the court system in Los Angeles thinks the living situation is acceptable for his son.

The public outburst adds another chapter to the long-running rivalry between 50 Cent and Diddy. The In Da Club hitmaker has repeatedly taken swipes at the Bad Boy Records founder in recent months as Diddy continues to face serious federal legal issues and intense public scrutiny.

50 Cent also recently executive-produced a highly publicised Netflix documentary titled Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which detailed the allegations against the embattled music mogul and reportedly gathered over 21 million views within its first six days of release.

Speaking during a recent interview on the American television show Good Morning America, 50 Cent denied that his constant commentary was driven by personal hatred, clarifying that, while his discomfort with Diddy dates back many years, his professional choices regarding the matter are not personal.
