Students of the Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) Cambridge School have recorded outstanding success in the June 2025 Cambridge IGCSE examinations, with six candidates achieving exceptional results.
The global examination, which drew more than 300,000 students from 4,231 schools across 139 countries, had 20 candidates from NTIC. Out of these, six students emerged with remarkable grades across multiple subjects.
The top performer, Omer Abdelrahim, earned straight A grades in all five subjects he sat for—Chemistry (94%), Mathematics (92%), ICT (92%), Physics (91%), and Economics (90%).
Similarly, Ummukursum Yahaya excelled with A grades in all seven of her subjects, including Economics, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and ICT.
Another standout, Ahmed Nuri Akyuldiz, also secured all A grades across six subjects: ICT, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Global Perspectives.
Other high achievers include:
Asake Amosu, who recorded four A grades in English, Economics, History, and Global Perspectives, alongside a B in Mathematics.
Also, Precious E. Egedegbe, with three A grades in English, Economics, and Biology, plus Bs in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and ICT. Maryam Abubakar, who earned A grades in Global Perspectives and English, and Bs in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
Reacting to the results, NTIC Managing Director, Dr. Fevzullah Bilgin, praised the students’ performance, attributing it to the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence as well as the combined efforts of teachers and parents.
“Together, they achieved remarkable success in the IGCSE June 2025 series. Your dedication and brilliance inspire us all. NTIC Cambridge remains the right choice for a sustainable future,” he stated.
