Governor Emmanuel while undertaking the groundbreaking ceremony of the Akwa Ibom House in Atlanta, at the weekend, said “the project is in partnership with the Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria (AKISAN), Atlanta chapter.

He said, “The money given by the state government is a huge investment, which has acquired 23 percent equity stake, was not a donation. He, therefore, expressed optimism that “the project will yield maximum benefits, and will be a veritable source of external financial inflows into the coffers of the State government.”

Giving an insight into the project, the national secretary of AKISAN, Sir Michael Asuquo and the project manager of the Akwa Ibom Housing Project, said “the project is a $10 million Dollar project, which will earn a lot of revenue to all the investors. The location of the project is very lucrative.’’
