Jigawa State Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has berated those accusing him of sabotaging the incoming governor, Malam Umar Namadi, describing the allegation as mischievous and unfounded.

Badaru stated this during a courtesy paid to him in Dutse by one of the chairman, Gerawa Globacom, Alhaji Ahmad Isa Gerawa.

The governor also described those  spreading the rumour as disgruntled elements and hypocrites who lost political ground and relevance in APC and Jigawa State affairs.

He said some of his trusted political allies and frontline APC members had been spreading lies against him and some party leaders to create confusion and crisis for achieving their selfish interests.

“It is very unfortunate we have been closing doors with our enemies, discussing government programs, how to build Jigawa and Jigawas with them, unknown to us they were not on the same page with us.

“Many of those bad elements are envious of other people’s progress and the achievements we recorded in government, they became frustrated and classical hypocrites, spreading lies and gossip which created misunderstanding between me and some of our party leaders and government officials.

“I thanks God, Almighty God has exposed all those bad elements and their nefarious activities, today the APC family is intact, we won our election, and  by God’s grace we will remain focused and resolute  for unity and progress of our party, Jigawa State and Nigeria against all odds,” he said.

The chairman, Gerawa Globacom who is also the APC leader in Jigawa State, Alhaji Isa Ahmad Gerawa, said if not because Governor Badaru was a very patient and forgiving leader the crisis and misunderstanding in the party would have been out of control.

“As times went on, we discovered the hypocrites who want to see the APC in disarray because they believed with unity in our party and Badaru as leader their ill motives and selfish interests would not be achieved.

“Today we have forgiven Governor Badaru, and we hope he will forgive us,  all these hypocrites are no longer relevant in the party, we have  politically buried them and they will not redirect in Jigawa’s political arena to eternity.

“From today we have declared war against any hypocrite who wants to create crisis in our party, or anybody who thinks of attacking the reputation of Governor Badaru while in office or anywhere in this world, we will not hesitate  to defend our leader,” Gerawa declared.
