Speaking to journalists, Cole said records of stewardship of the President and his Vice while they held sway as governors in their respective states of Lagos and Borno, speak highly of them.

Cole, who is also the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee of Youth Focus Campaign Team (YFCT), the Youth Wing of ICC, disclosed that the administration of President Bola Tinubu will take Nigeria to greater heights.

He, however, assured the majority of Nigerian youth in the maritime sector that industry challenges such as policy inconsistencies would be addressed.

He added that import duties and levy imposed  on Tokunbo vehicles and general cargoes should be reviewed in order to grow the economy, increase revenue generation and create employment.

He urged Nigerians to give the administration maximum support in order to revive the nation’s economy.

“Having listened to the inaugural speech of President Bola Tinubu which centered around security, unity, development, youth and women empowerment, maximum progress, the nation will in no doubt benefit immensely from his leadership qualities.”

“The hope of many Nigerian youth is renewed because of the proven capacity and capabilities of the captain of the ship of state.”
