Zeberced Grants Scholarships To Host Communities

Zeberced Group, a leading conglomerate in Nigeria has supported many corporate social responsibility projects such as vocational trainings, scholarships and empowerment programmes for the host communities.

The group also disclosed its plans to create 4,000 jobs by 2025 as part of the company’s vision to contribute to the social and economic development of the country.

The group, which operates in various sectors such as mining, construction and concrete products has been investing in Nigeria since 2007 and has established a strong presence in the Federal Capital Territory.

The group’s managing-director, Adil Aydın Kurt, who led other senior management team of the company on a courtesy visit to the headquarters of  LEADERSHIP Group Limited, yesterday, in Abuja, said that the company believes in the potential and future of Nigeria and aims to provide quality products and services that meet the needs and expectations of the customers.

According to Kurt, the group has already created 1,500 jobs in Nigeria.

He also disclosed plans by the company to expand operations and projects across the 36 states and to increase its workforce to  4,000 by 2025.

In the long term, he added that the company is working to establish 200 factories across industrial parks, railway stations, power plants, logistic warehouses and small support services that will generate 40,000 direct employment when completed.

He said, “We know that we have to add value to the economy. When we started in 2007, it was 40  employees but now we have reached 1,500 and we are willing to also increase the number in the next two years to 4,000”.

On the mining sector, the MD added, “First we need to get a good exploration and also good organisation.We also have plans to attract the big companies and to get  international guarantees from them”.

Earlier, the Editor-In-Chief, LEADERSHIP Group, Mr Azu Ishiekwene, who led the management team to receive the Zeberced team, pledged partnership and expressed delight. over the depth of investments by the company in Nigeria.

According to Ishiekwene, the story of the company’s tremendous investment in the sector remains a proof of what is possible when one sets a mind to do so.
