75 Sokoto Students Receive Higher Education Scholarships

Alhaji Jabbi Shagari, the Commissioner of Finance in Sokoto State, has sponsored 50 girls to study at the National Teachers Institute Shagari Centre, in a bid to promote girl-child education to the tertiary level.

He also announced the sponsorship of an additional 25 students to pursue various programs at different tertiary institutions. Among these, 10 will focus on engineering courses, while the remaining 15 will pursue other academic disciplines.

Commissioner Shagari urged these students to approach their studies with dedication, ensuring they make the most of this educational opportunity.

Expressing his commitment to empowering more students, particularly the girl child, Commissioner Shagari reiterated his dedication to providing educational support to qualified individuals, affirming his focus on fostering educational inclusivity and progression.
