The hoodlums operated in an ash-colored Toyota Sienna with an unknown registration number.

Acting Police Public Relations Officer, Ag. PPRO, DSP Joshua Ukandu, in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP Weekend, said that the operatives engaged the hoodlums in a gun duel, resulting in one operative being killed while another is currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital.

The statement also stated that the State Commissioner of Police, CP Augustina Ogbodo, immediately dispatched tactical teams of the command to the scene, who are now on the trail of the hoodlums.

Calm and normalcy have since been restored to the area.
