Alleged Organ Harvesting: Ekweremadu To Remain In Custody As UK Court Adjourns Trial To Oct 31

There is no respite yet  for the former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, as the Central Criminal Court in the UK has adjourned the alleged organ harvesting case involving the lawmaker, to October 31, 2022.

Ekweremadu and Beatrice, his wife, are facing charges bordering on conspiracy to arrange/facilitate the travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting of a 21-year-old Nigerian in the UK.

Ekweremadu To Remain In Custody As Wife Is Granted Bail

The couple was arrested weeks ago  for the alleged conspiracy but his wife was later granted bail.
