the Spectacular Spider—Men #1, introduces Peter and Miles establish a regular weekly meet up at a university coffeeshop every Wednesdays at 4pm to touch base as friends, outside their weekly crime fighting and arachnobatics (a term coined by Peter). However, it wasn’t long before a crime gets in the way, in the form of a hulk-sized jackal to interrupt their get together.
Defeating the Jackal is not the only thing the two spideys have to contend with, but more mysteries arise for them when a corpse is found in the university laboratory’s wreckage.
