In the film trailer released in FilmSelect YouTube account, a much older Benjamin Franklin journeys with his grandson, from 1700s America to France to persuade the French monarchy’s support to defeat a Britain that is very much determined to ensure America is vanquished. But betrayals, danger and sabotage are rife, and with no one to trust, Franklin is leaning towards deploying every to achieve his mission.

“Franklin explores the story of one of the greatest gambles of Benjamin Fraklin’s career. At age 70, Franklin outmaneuvered British spies and French informers while engineering the Franco-American alliance of 1778.” – FilmSelect Trailer.
