In a bid to promote arts and empower adolescent girls and boys with skills for self-reliance, ‘KAVE Glass Concept’, in collaboration with ‘Dandalin Matasa Initiative for Rapid Development’, recently organised a training programme in Gombe State to empower adolescents.

The programme, which drew participants from Gombe High School, its new graduates and corps members, focused on fine arts, interior design, drawing, painting and ceramics.

During the closing ceremony of the training, the chief executive officer of KAVE Glass Concept, Mr Paul Timothy, said the training was aimed at equipping the students and youths with practical skills to enhance their economic independence after graduation.

“This training cannot be achieved in a conventional classroom setting. We aim to promote arts and provide a platform for young talents to flourish,” he noted.

Timothy expressed his organisation’s commitment to empowering youths, stating that an exhibition on culture is slated for November in the state in collaboration with partners.
