Lobi Stars: Alia Sacks Iorfa, Places Club Under Sports Council

Benue State governor, Hyacinth Alia, has sacked the vice chairman of Lobi Stars football club of Makurdi, Mr Dominic Iorfa.

This is even as the Governor who spoke through his technical adviser on media, publicity and strategic communications, Solomon Iorpev, said, henceforth, the Club will be under the leadership of the Benue State Sports Council.

Governor Alia said Iorfa’s removal takes immediate effect.

The Governor also constituted a new board of the club headed by Dr. Philip Nongu, Chairman, Dr. Iorngulum Malu, Secretary, Chief Solomon Andii, Harry Yachi, Francis Ejiga are members members with Sir James Iorpuu as the representative of the government.

The governor directed that all management should handover to the board members before Sunday, today.
