The unveiling ceremony, held on Monday in Abuja, was presided over by the interim President of the Cooperative, Auwalu Isah, who emphasised its core mission. “The principal objective of this initiative is to serve our members’ socio-economic and welfare needs,” he said.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by KATO, the Head of Press and Protocol, Veronica, it was highlighted that the Cooperative would operate on principles of transparency, accountability, equity, and fairness.

Speaking at the event, Mr Isah outlined plans to ensure the financial empowerment of members and the substantial growth of the Cooperative’s capital base.

Board member Barr. Murtala Aliyu Kankia commended the initiative and urged the interim executives to discharge their responsibilities diligently, noting the importance of maintaining the trust vested in them.
