The crown came amidst fierce competition from other beautiful and elegant queens. The scores for each contestant were displayed on the screen starting from online voting, behaviour in camp, and the D-Day activities on 27th December, 2027. The processes leading to the winner were judged to be transparent and rewarding.

Queen Ngusha Susan, who contested as Miss Benue, emerged the first runner up, winner of Queen of Tourism and two awards from the contest. Queen Rejoice Joshua, who contested as Miss Anambra, emerged as second runner up and Queen of Culture.

The annual Idoma International Carnival aims to promote tourism and cultural exchange of the Idoma people, and this year’s theme, “The Rhythm of Our Heritage,” was reflected in the performances and presentations of rich cultural costumes of Benue State and Nigeria at large. The new queens will embark on a year-long journey to promote social causes and represent Nigeria on international platforms.
