The General Manager of the Kogi Community and Social Development Agency (KGCSDA), Chief Momoh O. Dauda, has assured more people centered projects in communities across the state.

He stated this after he was honoured with the prestigious chieftaincy title of Odovidi Engworo of Ihima Kingdom by the Ohi of Ihima, HRH Alhaji Abdulraheem Ahmed Ogido, during the celebration of the 16th anniversary of his coronation.

Chief Dauda promised his commitment to improving the lives of the people through impactful projects during a speech after receiving the title.

Recognized for his dedication to providing essential social amenities to various communities and especially in Ihima, Chief Momoh highlighted plans for interventions in education, healthcare infrastructure, and rural water schemes, saying that this will resolve the pressing needs he is familiar with as a member of the community.

Acknowledging the support and trust extended to him by Kogi State governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Chief Momoh expressed gratitude for the freedom and financial backing that enabled the agency’s significant achievements.

He also showed appreciation to former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his recognition and appointment in the first instance.

He was appointed as the general manager of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency in 2018. Chief Dauda Momoh’s leadership has significantly impacted the state’s rural communities through various projects under World Bank-assisted programmes, exemplified by over 380 micro-projects completed across Kogi’s senatorial districts.

Recognized for his contributions to community development, Chief Momoh received the title of Atuluse of Ogale Idi-Oro Kingdom in 2021 before the recent chieftaincy title from the Ohi of Ihima.
