Stakeholders and executives of Olulumo Ward in Ikom local government area, Cross River State, have justified passing a vote of confidence on the national women leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Amina Darasimi Bryhm, saying those working against her will fail.

The stakeholders, who endorsed her at a recent meeting, said she has shown dedication, leadership, and has made contributions to the PDP’s growth at both ward and national levels.
The PDP ward chairman, Innocent Ijoma Ejukwa, said Amina is a pillar of the PDP and a source of pride for Olulumo Ward.

“Hon. Amina has consistently represented us well at the National Working Committee. We reject any attempt to tarnish her reputation with fake news or baseless suspension plots,” the statement read.

The stakeholders criticised those allegedly working against her, describing them as “political mercenaries” intent on disrupting the ward’s unity.
