In a thrilling display of endurance and skill, Edwin Kibet of Kenya has claimed victory in the male 42km category at the 10th Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.

Kibet finished the race with an impressive unofficial time of 2:14:16, securing his place among the marathon elite.

This victory marks a remarkable achievement for Kibet who also won the marathon in 2023 with a slightly faster time of 2:14:06.

His consistent performance in this prestigious event showcases his dedication and prowess as a long-distance runner.

As the champion, Kibet will take home a prize of US$50,000, a fitting reward for his hard work and determination.
