Similarly, president of STJOSA Engr. Peter Jademi, acknowledged the achievements of the school while highlighting concerns over infrastructural decay.

“Over the years, we have witnessed infrastructural decline, and we need to address this issue urgently. As alumni, we are committed to partnering with the school for positive change. Our goal is to restore St. John’s College to its former glory,” Jademi said.

He further announced scholarships for indigent students and prizes for academic excellence, encouraging alumni to remain engaged in giving back to their alma mater.

Meanwhile, chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Hyeladzira Ochonogor, emphasized the importance of upholding the ideals of St. John’s College amid evolving global challenges.

She called for equipping students with skills, knowledge, and moral values to navigate the future.

Notable award recipients included Nollywood star and Lagos State House of Assembly member, Hon. Desmond Elliot, NTA’s Mohammed Abdulrahman Ibn, and the Anglican Bishop of Jos, Rt. Rev. Ephraim Gongden, Alfred ‘Seemo’ Mashat amongst others.
