The chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Bola Shobowale, is dead.
She passed away after a prolonged battle with illness.
It was gathered that before her death, she had been absent from office for nearly a year due to health complications.
To fill the leadership vacuum created in the LCDA by her ailment, Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, had three days ago appointed the council’s Vice Chairman, Oladipupo Oluwaloni, as the acting chairman pending her return.
