In a statement issued on Monday and signed by the forum’s National Coordinator, Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole, the former lawmakers praised Kalu’s dedication to public service, describing him as a “hardworking, goal-oriented leader” whose impact in parliament continues to inspire many across the country.

The forum lauded Kalu’s steadfast commitment to national development and his remarkable contributions to legislative progress. “We celebrate your life, leadership, and contributions to our great nation, particularly in the hallowed chambers of the House of Representatives,” the statement read.

The NFLF also offered prayers for continued strength and wisdom for the Deputy Speaker. “As you mark another year of life, we pray that God continues to bless you with good health, wisdom, and strength. May your birthday be a celebration of joy, love, and gratitude for the gift of life,” the message added.

Referring to Kalu by his traditional title, the forum concluded: “Happy birthday again, UTABIRI BENDE!”
