This was disclosed in a statement released yesterday by the commission’s information and public relations officer, Muhammad Sani Yunusa, outlining the commission’s preparations for the exercise.

According to the statement, the executive secretary of the commission, Alhaji Ibrahim Inuwa, reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of Governor Bala Muhammad to clearing outstanding gratuity payments in phases.

“The disbursement exercise will take place at the Bauchi State Pension Board Headquarters, Abubakar Umar Secretariat, at 11am. Retirees are advised to come along with all necessary documents for verification and collection of their cheques,” Sani added.

Alhaji Inuwa also reiterated the commission’s dedication to prioritising the welfare and rights of retirees across the state.
