The chairman of Lagos State Social Democratic Party (SDP) and chairman of Chairmen of SDP Nigeria, Hon. He said that MKO Abiola, who was elected President of Nigeria in 1993 under the banner of the SDP, was dedicated to the country’s development.
Olaniyi commended Abiola for his selfless philanthropy and belief in empowering the youth and promoting political inclusiveness.

He said, “As a builder of institutions, people, and ideas, MKO Abiola left a lasting legacy for the SDP, laying the foundation for a new Nigeria. I called on all SDP leaders across the nation to emulate Abiola’s leadership style and work towards national progress and unity.”
