Keystone Bank Recommits To Educational Devt, Refurbishes Secondary School Facilities In Anambra

Keystone Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing educational development in Nigeria by refurbishing key facilities at St. Jude Secondary School in Ihiala, Anambra State. The bank recently completed renovating and equipping a block of classrooms, an administrative building, a school hall, and science laboratories as part of its Educational Support Initiative.

The project aims to improve the learning environment and support education quality in the state. At the commissioning and handover event on Saturday, Anambra State Governor Dr Charles Soludo expressed appreciation for Keystone Bank’s role in supporting education infrastructure.

He highlighted how such contributions reflect a vital partnership between the private sector and government, emphasising that education and health remain a top priority for his administration. Governor Soludo noted that improved educational facilities are essential to nurturing future leaders and fostering innovation.

The project, executed under the bank’s Educational Support Initiative, forms part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to enhance learning standards and provide students with a more conducive environment.

Addressing the crowd at the event, Governor Soludo praised the bank for contributing to the growth of education in Anambra and for demonstrating what he called “a true spirit of partnership between the private sector and Government.”

He noted that his administration has continued to prioritise education and health, describing them as “the twin pillars of development and human capital growth.”

The governor said, “I sincerely appreciate Keystone Bank for this great feat. Without education, no nation can make meaningful progress. What Keystone Bank has done today truly touched my heart.

“Our focus is to build schools that are not only functional but inspiring.
