Infertility: Expert Advocates Proper Diagnosis To Improve Treatment

Chief executive officer of UandNature Therapy and Spa, Dr Blessing Oladapo-Amao, has said proper diagnosis is critical to improving treatment outcomes for patients with infertility issues.

Oladapo-Amao stated this during the clinic’s free health talk titled; “Infertility, the Way Out”, to celebrate her birthday and mark the therapy clinic’s third year anniversary in Abuja yesterday.

She said with improved diagnosis, many people would find solutions in managing infertility problems appropriately and live happier lives.

“Infertility has become a serious issue in Nigeria and around the world and a lot of people do not have the right approach in handling it. Not all infertility issues should lead to IVF, with proper diagnosis, there can be a solution.

“Proper diagnosis is important because it gives us a guide to know the type of infertility the person is experiencing. There are different kinds of infertility, the male, female and unexplained infertility. With the right diagnosis you should be able to know the organ or part of the organ that needs to be treated so that the patient can get results and be able to conceive.

The herbal medicine expert added that since the clinic began operating three years ago, it had proffered solutions to many people and marriages. And they organised the free health talk, as a way of giving back to the society by creating awareness on how people can come out of infertility.
