A group, United Advocates for Good Governance and Leadership, has congratulated Mrs Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan on her appointment as the chief executive officer of the Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission.
The group described the appointment as well-deserved, citing Eyesan’s experience, competence, and commitment to excellence in the oil and gas sector.
In a statement yesterday, the national secretary of the group, Oyeintonbra Theophilus Friday, said the organisation was delighted that Eyesan’s abilities had been recognised at the national level.
“We are thrilled to see Mrs Eyesan’s talents recognised and rewarded. Her dedication, expertise and commitment to excellence make her an asset to any organisation,” he said.
The group, led by its national coordinator, Israel T. Ebiama, also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for entrusting the leadership of the commission to Eyesan.
It called on Nigerians to support the new NUPRC boss, urging stakeholders to offer their cooperation and expertise to enable her succeed.
“We thank God for bringing her back to the industry, and we pray for wisdom, success and guidance as she takes on this responsibility,” Friday added.
The group expressed confidence that Eyesan’s leadership would contribute to improved regulation and growth in Nigeria’s upstream petroleum sector.
