PDP Women Leader, Others Join APC In Kebbi

The Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) Women Leader, Hajiya Mariya Waziri and other supporters have joined the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in Kebbi State.

They were received at a ceremony held at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi.

Waziri who spoke on behalf of others said, their decision to join the ruling party was informed by the quality leadership of governor Nasir Idris which has developed the state.

She added that for 20 years ago, she has never changed her political party but, based on the transformational projects recorded in the state  within two years in office of governor Idris she decided to join the ruling party.

Governor Nasir Idris who received the women leader together with other supporters acknowledged their defection.

He assured her of full integration into APC and pledged to carry her along with her supporters in his administration.
