The Kentucky-based music showcase, Louder Than Life, also known as America’s Loudest Rock & Metal four-day event, is returning big with its next festival in September.
Regarded as the top-ranking destination for Rock and Metal fans, the event has revealed the rest of its 2026 lineup on Monday, February 23, following its announcements of headliners such as ‘My Chemical Romance’ and ‘Iron Maiden’.
Others that will add to the final complementary acts of the festival include: ‘Pantera and Megadeth’, pop-punk favourites ‘Pierce the Veil’ and ‘A Day to Remember’, rap rockers ‘Limp Bizkit’ and ‘Papa Roach’, ska punk band ‘Sublime’, and progressive rock bands such as famous ‘Tool and Gojira’, as well as singer and composer, singer and songwriter, Danny Elfman.
This year’s 2026 listing is reported to be the largest in the festival’s 12-year history. Almost 200 acts, including Alice Cooper, Jimmy Eat World, and Bowling for Soup, are expected to perform across seven stages at the four-day event.
Event organiser is Danny Wimmer Presents, famous for producing large-scale rock festivals in the U.S. Danny Wimmer said in a statement, “Louder Than Life is your playground — ride the coasters, catch legendary and emerging bands, enjoy incredible food and bourbon and dive headfirst into the rock experience you’ve been waiting for.”
