The Charted Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON) led by its national president and chairman of the Governing Council, Comrade Koko Clement has begun the process of establishing Printing Management courses at the Kaduna State University, saying running such courses at degree level would boost professionalism in the civil service and private sector.
“We desire to have the printing faculty in at least one university in each of the six geo-political zones of the federation,” he stressed.
Receiving the CIPPON team on behalf of the management of Kaduna State University, the deputy vice chancellor, strategy, innovation and service delivery, Professor Helen Andow, said CIPPON should quickly proceed to submit a detailed proposal to the director, entrepreneurship centre and academic planning where due attention such as visibility plan would be carried out to X-ray how printing management can fit into the KASU system and even in the society before presentation to the university’s senate.
