Former Ivory Coast international, Yaya Touré, expressed “disappointment”s3ee with Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea on Sunday.
Analysing the match for Sky Sports, Touré stated he had anticipated a more fluid and engaging football spectacle. However, the ex-Manchester City midfielder was left underwhelmed by the “strange” derby, noting that all three goals originated from corner-kicks.
He remarked: “The first half was okay… I feel a bit disappointed because we want to see a flourishing game. Passing, attacking and scoring chances. Three goals from set-pieces, a bit strange for a derby! A really important win for Arsenal but as a fan, I want to see more.”
