The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, Panam Musa Buba, has ordered the deployment of 2,500 personnel throughout the state in preparation for the Eid Fitri celebrations.
In a statement issued by the Comnand’s Public Relations Officer, Habeeb Badamasi,
said the strategic deployment was aim to ensure the safety of lives, property, and the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure during the festive period.
Panam warned criminals to reconsider their actions during the festive period as dedicated officers will be stationed in various locations across the state to guarantee a peaceful and secure Sallah celebration.
“Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of integrity among personnel, stating that any officer found compromising their duty will face appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with established laws.”
The commandant urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious individuals within their vicinity for immediate intervention and necessary action.
Panam advised the community to steer clear of conflict, embrace harmony, and fully enjoy the blessings of the season, knowing that NSCDC personnel were present to safeguard them against any threats.
