Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, has reiterated her call for a world ruled by compassion and love.
According to a statement by her media aide, Busola Kukoyi, this was at a church service held at Lambeth Palace, London on the margins of President Bola Tinubu’s State Visit to the United Kingdom.
Lambeth Palace is the famous residence of Archbishop of Canterbury.
In her engagement on the margins of the two day state visit, the First Lady was also received by the Secretary General of the Anglican Communion, Worldwide, Bishop Anthony Poggo.
In a short reflection, the First Lady said navigating through comtemporary challenges faced by the world requires not just policies and strategies, but also actions shaped by love and compassion.
She also led a special prayer for the royal family and leaders around the world.
After a short tour of some sections of the palace, the First Lady met with
members of the Anglican Communion office and Anglican Alliance serving in 42 Anglican churches worldwide.
