Easter Celebration: NSCDC Deploys 365 Personnel In Zamfara

The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), under the leadership of CC Sani Mustapha has confirmed the deployment of 365 operational personnel across the state to ensure a peaceful and secured Easter celebration.

In a statement signed by the   spokesperson of the command, Asc I Mohammad Umar M., and issued to the journalists in Gusau, the state capital  yesterday, the NSCDC said the deployments optimally covers the period (pre, active, and post) festivities, with a strategic goal of actively strengthening security presence at worship centres, securing lives and critical infrastructure across the 14 local government areas  of the state.

Commandant Sani Mustapha charged his men for an extensive operational coverage; uphold discipline, consistency and the display of professionalism in the discharge of their respective duties to ensure peace and order, efficiently.

Mustapha affirmed that NSCDC under the leadership of the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, is committed to delivering on its mandate and that the Zamfara State command shall not relent in that effort. He reassured the civil populace of the Corps’ resolute pledge to the protection of lives, property and critical infrastructure, noting, that any perpetrator apprehended shall face the consequences of his or her action.
