.A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Buba Galadima, has launched a scathing attack on President Bola Tinubu, declaring that even a corpse would defeat him in the 2027 presidential election.
Galadima made the remark on Tuesday while speaking at the 8th National Convention of the party, led by former Senate President, David Mark, in Abuja.
In a fiery address that drew reactions from party faithful and observers, the Kano-born politician expressed strong confidence that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) would be voted out in the next general elections.
According to him, the level of dissatisfaction among Nigerians has reached a point where any alternative,no matter how unlikely, would triumph over the current administration.
He also condemned what he described as attempts to frustrate the ADC convention, alleging that the party was denied access to previously secured venues, including the National Stadium in Abuja.
Galadima warned that any further attempt to obstruct the party’s activities would be strongly resisted.
“We were denied access to the National Stadium after making necessary arrangements. If they had also stopped us at this venue, we would not have taken it lightly,” he said.
The ADC chieftain, who is a close associate of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, further stated that the party remains resolute despite mounting pressure.
He stressed that intimidation and suppression would not deter the ADC from mobilising Nigerians ahead of the 2027 elections.
The convention, which brought together key opposition figures, is seen as part of broader efforts to build a united front against the ruling APC.
