Former Big Brother Naija winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has denied taking down her Instagram page, stating that the account was suspended after being heavily reported by fans of social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM).

The reality star’s account became unavailable on Monday, May 25, during a heated online fight between her and the activist.

Addressing the issue in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Phyna cleared the air, stating that she did not deactivate the account herself.

“I didn’t deactivate my IG. Deactivate say wetin happen na? It got suspended,” she said.

The heavy clash started after Phyna accused VDM of trying to sleep with her, claiming the critic turned against her because she rejected his advances. She also shared screenshots of private chats to back up her claims, which VDM strongly denied while demanding clear proof.

The drama escalated when Israel DMW, a media aide to singer Davido, joined the conversation, making insulting remarks about Phyna.

Phyna fired back angrily during a live broadcast, making strong personal comments about Israel’s marriage and his lack of children.
