Liverpool have officially confirmed the exit of three members of the first-team coaching staff, marking another significant shift in the club’s backroom structure this summer.

The departing trio consists of Sipke Hulshoff, Ruben Peeters, and Giovanni van Bronckhorst, all of whom played integral roles under former head coach Arne Slot.

Hulshoff held a dual role as first assistant coach and lead physical performance coach, making him a central figure in both tactical planning and player conditioning.

Peeters originally joined Liverpool in the summer of 2024 as part of Slot’s newly assembled backroom team, following Slot’s appointment as head coach. Van Bronckhorst arrived more recently, taking up an assistant coaching position last summer within Slot’s setup.

The departures come just weeks after Liverpool announced that Slot would be leaving his post as head coach—a decision made public last month. With Slot’s exit, the club has now moved to part ways with his closest lieutenants.

In a short statement released on Friday, Liverpool thanked the three coaches for their service. “Everybody at LFC thanks Sipke, Ruben and Gio for all their efforts and contributions to the club and wishes them the best for the future,” the statement read.

The club has not yet indicated whether further changes to the coaching staff are expected or if replacements will be announced in the coming days.
