The managing director/ chief executive officer, Mr Timothy A. Zalanga who led other management staff of the company to make the presentation also expressed sadness over the incident that led to the death of a policeman of the post in Kaduna.

On 18th November, 2022, the convoy of the managing director of the company was attacked in Gonin Gora by unknown gunmen, on their return from Abuja at 9pm leading to the death of a police inspector identified as Aminu Muhammad, while Sargent Allen Moses, the MD/CEO and the driver escaped the attack.

The MD who regretted the attack prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed policeman and assured of the company’s continuous support to the family. He then presented an undisclosed cash token to the officer who survived and also a motorcycle to the station.

According to him, “We decided to present the motorcycle to the station in order to ease your response to the community because we have been briefed on the difficulties you encounter when the community is distressed. We hope to present a vehicle for you early next year.”

He said, “The late Aminu was communicating with his family telling them that he will be home soon when the incident occurred. We have been in contact with the family even though we know that there is nothing anybody can do to bring him back, we can only give our little support.”

Responding, the Division Police Officer (DPO), Superintendent of Police, Victor Allahmagani thanked the management of the company for coming to condole with them and for the donation of the motorcycle, saying it will ease their mobility particularly in attending to distress calls promptly.
