American singer and model, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, has secured a major legal victory after a California federal court dismissed a lawsuit filed against her by former escort Clayton Howard.

United States District Judge Anne Hwang threw out Howard’s racketeering, sex trafficking, and human trafficking claims against Ventura with prejudice, meaning the complainant cannot refile the same allegations against her in the future.

However, the judge granted Howard a two-week window to amend specific parts of his broader, ongoing lawsuit against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Howard filed the legal action last year, alleging that Ventura and Combs paid him for commercial sexual encounters over eight years starting in 2009.

He claimed that Ventura actively solicited him to travel across state lines, forced him to use illicit substances, and subjected him to nonconsensual acts during alleged gatherings.

Ventura strongly denied all allegations, leading the court to rule in her favour for lack of legal merit.

The court battle was accompanied by intense friction outside the courtroom. Ventura’s legal team previously sought judicial intervention after Howard allegedly launched a social media harassment campaign, issuing direct threats against the singer online.

In court filings submitted earlier, Ventura revealed that she no longer resides in the United States, stating:

“I am not a resident of the State of California. I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States.”

While Ventura has been completely cleared of all charges in the matter, the civil lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs remains active in court.
