PalmPay’s NightGuard Reinforces Its ‘PalmPay Dey For You’ Promise With Added Night-Time Protection

As part of the campaign, PalmPay unveiled new security features available through its upgraded Security Center, like NightGuard, a transaction protection feature designed to provide extra security during late night hours.

NightGuard allows users to set their preferred protection hours between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. During the selected period, any transfer attempt will require additional verification to confirm that the person initiating the transaction is truly the account holder.

Speaking on the importance of the feature, Head of PalmPay Nigeria Marketing Femi Hanson noted, “With many fraud incidents happening at night, particularly after a phone is lost or when scammers believe a customer may be less alert, it is important for users to have practical tools that can strengthen account security. With NightGuard, PalmPay is laser-focused on protection during a time when users are typically off-guard. We will continue to educate users and give them more reason to feel confident about banking with us.”
