Thousands Gather For Unveiling of Rainbow Coalition’s Candidates In Rivers

Thousands of supporters and members of the Rainbow Coalition are currently gathering at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt, for the unveiling of the candidates of the coalition ahead of the 2027 general election.

The Rainbow Coalition, founded and led by the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Wike, is made of prominent members of the Action Alliance (AA), the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The event will feature the presentation of flags to the candidates, which cut across all the affiliate political parties.
